SPORTS THERAPY

I offer preventative and rehabiliation therapy.

Specifically the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of clients back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports specific fitness, regardless of level, age, ability or injury.

What should I expect during the treatment?
PF Taping.jpg

At the initial meeting, we begin with an assesment and a talk about the symptoms you're experiencing before I make a treatment plan. I'll share my findings at all stages along the way.

You should come with or wearing shorts, or be comfortable in your underwear. I'll advise what is needed and leave the room for you to prepare, always covering you where possible.

Treatment can be uncomfortable, but not painful. I'll talk with you throughout and will adapt my approach at any point where necessary.

You should expect to leave with some stretches or exercises.

I always recommend that you drink plenty of water following a treatment, and not to exercise strenously that same day.

I will advise on further treatment requirements, this varies greatly from person to person.

Hi!

I'm Frankie, founder of Functional Sports Therapy.

I'm a Level 5 Sports Therapist. I totally love my work, it's a privilege to help you all get the very best function from your bodies, whether following an injury or just keeping you on track.

Outside of work, I'm a mum to 2 amazing, active boys. I play rugby and netball, coach performance & domestic netball, and spend most mornings in the gym downstairs before work. So all in all i'm no stranger to what our bodies endure from a personal aswell as professional perspective.
